That's a good point.  I would like to publish exactly one copy of the
obsolete packages, since that's all that's actually necessary, and just
make sure that when RE puts together the release repo, that they grab those
obsolete packages we're publishing now, but I'm not sure how best to do
that.  They're not really set up for it, because none of the other
consolidations bother -- they just republish the renamed and obsolete
packages every build.  :(

RE uses "pkgrecv --newest" to get a list of packages to move to the release and support repos, so that will pick up the obsolete packages as well, regardless of whether the build number is the final build of the release. Is that your concern?
