Server Adapter Samples

Java CAPS supports a number of adapters to enable connectivity to different types of servers. Click on an adapter in the table below to download the available samples.

Adapter Description
CICS This file includes three Repository-based samples that show how to use the Adapter for CICS with Java Collaboration Definitions and with Business Processes. One project demonstrates using the COBOL Copybook Converter with the CICS Adapter. Sample input and output files are provided for each project.
IMS This file includes four Repository-based samples that show how to use the Adapter for IMS with Java Collaboration Definitions and with Business Processes. These projects demonstrate connectivity with the IMS system, using the IMS MFS Builder, and using the MFS OTD to compose IVTNO transaction messages. Sample input and output files are provided for each project.
Sun Java System Application Server This file includes two Repository-based samples that show how Java CAPS can communicate with the Sun Java System Application Server. The samples illustrate how to implement the Adapter with both Java Collaboration Definitions and Business Processes. Sample input and output files are provided for each project.
Oracle WebLogic Server This file includes three Repository-based samples that show how Java CAPS can communicate with the WebLogic Server. The samples illustrate how to implement the Adapter with both Java Collaboration Definitions and Business Processes, and provide examples of both synchronous and asynchronous communication. Sample input and output files are provided for each project.
IBM WebSphere MQ This file includes two Repository-based samples that show how Java CAPS can communicate with IBM WebSphere MQ. The samples illustrate how to implement the Adapter with both Java Collaboration Definitions and Business Processes, and provide examples of get, put, and receive functions.
