At the moment TCK (at least one test got seriously broken by recent
changes) is under the "javax.money" umbrella.
As the 310 RI is so tightly integrated with OpenJDK it may not serve as a
good example for what we seek.
Some recent JSRs like CDI
uses mostly "org.jboss" as umbrella, including the "Weld" RI project. All
other repositories are on GitHub. "cdi-spec.org" here is the GitHub site,
not another source codebase btw[?]
Taking that one might see "org.javamoney" as a more logical parent project
and domain here
BeanValidation has RI and TCK under "hibernate.org", but neither of them
use "javax.validation" there either.
JSR 107 has a somewhat weird TCK, it uses anonymous top level package names
like "domain". The RI however used a "org.jsr107" domain (somewhat similar
to "javamoney" or "threeten"[?]) registered by Oracle. AFAIK Batch JSR uses
com.ibm for its TCK, so there is no known example where the "javax.*" space
was also used for the TCK IMHO.
Whether or not RI and TCK use a similar domain/package space or not, that
seems flexible and done by many projects not just at JBoss. It is not sure,
if the JSR 107 TCK will remain in that package forever, or it also picks up
the "org.jsr107" umbrella.
Thus finding the most suitable RI package and place is a good idea. TCK may
follow as soon as that is found.
Beside Moneta JodaMoney could be an option. Would you like to launch a new
Doodle or some other form of survey (including this mail thread if it's not
