4.1 Modeling Methods

The following is the list of the methods that gets PCM model data.

Method Description
PcmInfo getPcmInfo() Gets CPU information about the processor under monitoring. Returns a java model represents the CPU information.
void checkProcessor() Checks if the processor to be monitored is compatible or not. Returns void in case the processor is supported Throws JpcmException if the processor is not compatible.
CoreCounterState getCoreCounterState(int coreIndex) Gets the Core Counter State for a certain core. Takes coreIndex as the index of the processor core. Returns CoreCounterState modeling the core counter state
SocketCounterState getSocketCounterState(int coreIndex); Gets the Socket Counter State for a certain core. Takes coreIndex as the index of the processor core. Returns SocketCounterState modeling the socket counter state
SystemCounterState getSystemCounterState(); Gets the System Counter State for a certain core. Returns SystemCounterState modeling the system counter state
