Hi Michael, specleads, experts,
Thanks for resending this. I really missed it.
Looks really good. All diffs are easily browsable. Only the formatting is a
bit weird as it requires a extremely wide screen to view it properly without
scrolling horizontally. Thanks for the nice HTTP diff.
Now from looking at the diffs the following remarks/questions:
-the class Networkinterface mentions "3GPP","CDMA" and "DIALUP" as well known
types of network interfaces. So a typical wireless modem which could support
umts (3GPP), cdma and csd(dialup) would then comprise 3 networking interfaces
? even when these interfaces are not independent of each other e.g. you cant
use CDMA while in 3GPP mode?
-NetworkUtilities: I remember our discussion and I see that you added a
sentence about the used access point. I do need to stress again that this
solution is weak. Not being able to select the accesspoint for DNS queries
and ping makes life much more difficult for an application, especially in a
multi accesspoint or even multi networkinterface (with multiple accesspoints)
environment. I strongly recommend (again) to make the accesspoint a (at least
optional) parameter in all these methods.

Subject: [jsr360-observers] [jsr360-experts] Spec changes between JSR 360
SpecLead Draft 4 and JSR 360 PFD
Dear JSR360 experts,
we have published the HTML diffs between the latest spec lead draft already
i.e. the next day after the EG telco.
This information was somewhat buried in the meeting notes,
let me therefore share the links again for your reference.
Diffs between CLDC8 PFD and SLDR
Diffs between GCF8 PFD and SLDR
We hope this helps to review the changes since the latest spec-lead draft.
