(Adding Stefano as I'm not sure whether the reinstallation of your JSPA membership
has already reinstalled your memberhsip in this distribution)

Dear experts,

thank you for joining the EG meeting today.
Here come the minutes:

- Confirmation from Thomas that the issue he has raised wrt changes in the spec
(see his email about removin the extra data from installation codes) is clarified
  by my email answer

- Clarification that the stripping issue as discussed in the JSR-360 (CLDC) EG
does NOT affect the optionality in MEEP, means even if stripping is no supported,
a MEEP implementation can always choose which optional packages to implement
(considering the dependencies as described in the Optionality chapter)

- Explanation of the changes done in permission handling: a mix of named permissions
and permission classes is allowed for both, MEEP and legacy IMP-NG applications,
the application developer is responsible not declare contradictionary permission
requests in manifest and/or JAD file

- Short explanation of the most important spec changes handled in JIRA (marked
  in red below)

- Formal confirmation by the EG to submit Proposed Final Draft to PMO
  next week
*AI all: If you did not attend the meeting today and there are concerns, pls. let me know!*

- Werner mentioning an IoT gremium that could be interesting for ME companies
*AI Werner: Provide info to the EG distribution.*

Thanks, and best regards -
Volker
