As I was reading your changes to page 5 of the document I noticed the
reference to the EventResponse.setRenderParameters(EventRequest) method.
Was the addition of this method in Portlet 2.0 meant to work-around the "poof
it's gone" problem described in the other email thread?
If so, then perhaps the automatic copying changes proposed for Portlet 3.0
might make this method a no-op?
BTW, forgot to mention that automatic copying of "non-public request render
parameters" is a requirement in Section 5.2.5 of the JSR 329 Spec titled
"Executing a Portlet Event Request"
