Hi Werner,

Within the latest version of Quaqua the margin for actions/buttons on toolbars is too wide.

It looks like this:

and should be like:
[http://www.rationalplan.com/images/small.png]

The problem comes from QuaquaNativeButtonBorder.java and more exactly from line 137. Here is the code:
{"toolBar", false, null, //
                new Insets[]{new Insets(3, 3, 3, 3), new Insets(3, 3, 3, 3), new Insets(3, 3, 3, 3)},//
                new Insets[]{new Insets(1, 4, 1, 4), new Insets(1, 2, 1, 2), new Insets(1, 2, 1, 2)},//
                new Insets[]{new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0), new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0), new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0)}}

Why do you use those values for the second line? If you put it like:
{"toolBar", false, null, //
                new Insets[]{new Insets(3, 3, 3, 3), new Insets(3, 3, 3, 3), new Insets(3, 3, 3, 3)},//
                new Insets[]{new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0), new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0), new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0)},//
                new Insets[]{new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0), new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0), new Insets(0, 0, 0, 0)}}

it will look like in the second picture that is better.

Thanks you,
Tiberiu
