Access to connector/socket container info
-----------------------------------------

                 Key: SERVLET_SPEC-45
                 URL: http://java.net/jira/browse/SERVLET_SPEC-45
             Project: servlet-spec
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: c.beikov

As discussed in the mailing list[1] a suggestion on how to extend the current
api to expose information about the underlying connectors/sockets.
This is just the first idea that came into my head. Please suggest better
ideas if you can think of any. Since I was just targeting to expose something
like the https port to the application, I did't thought of better changes.

public interface ServletContext {
  // existing members

  public Set<ServletConnector> getConnectors();
}

public interface ServletConnector{
  public int getPort();
  public String getProtocol();
  public boolean isSecure();
}
