Hi,

Could anyone advise me on the following issue.
On  S12 b20 X86 I try to execute some code which  contains the following line:

font_set = XCreateFontSet(dpy, font_name_list, &miss_list,
&missing_charset_count, &def_string);

where the 2-nd argument has "courier-bold-14" value.

On my old Solaris10 desktop this 'font_set' got  correct pointer value, but on
this S12 b20 system it got zero.

So my assumption would be that  in order to produce correct value for
'font_set'
I need to install
some package which contains info about "courier-bold-14" font.

But what would be the name of this package?

Since I happen to have all the font packages installed here, and recognized
that
short form as an alias for the longer standard font names, I was able to do a
quick grep to find it:

% grep courier-bold-14 /usr/share/fonts/X11/*/fonts.alias
/usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1/fonts.alias:courier-bold-14 "-ibm-courier-bold-r-normal--14-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-1"

% grep -- -ibm-courier-bold-r-normal /usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1/fonts.dir
courb.pfa -ibm-courier-bold-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-adobe-standard
courb.pfa -ibm-courier-bold-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-ascii-0
courb.pfa -ibm-courier-bold-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso10646-1
courb.pfa -ibm-courier-bold-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-1
courb.pfa -ibm-courier-bold-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-3
courb.pfa -ibm-courier-bold-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-9

% pkg search /usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1/courb.pfa
INDEX      ACTION VALUE                               PACKAGE
path file usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1/courb.pfa pkg:/system/font/xorg/xorg-core@7.7-5.12.0.0.0.19.1363

So it should be in the pkg:/system/font/xorg/xorg-core package, which I'd
expect to be installed by default.
