Networking ME is a networking library for Java ME platform. It's built on top of Generic Connection Framework and other foundation technologies. It has a modular architecture with well-designed, feature-rich APIs that are easy to use.

Programmable framework with many features - add/run services, add/search metadata, autonomous, self-organising and distributed/remote communication. The server can be used by itself. Additional packages include a GUI, or a programmable problem solver for optimisation through heuristic search. Java J2SE or J2ME CDC compatible. Status is stable, but still under development.
Fill gaps in Java ME / J2ME development, providing helper classes for manipulating byte, character, XML, and JSON streams; working with files, property files, log files, arrays, dates, numbers, and strings; and covering gaps in Java ME Math with a port of C-library routines for IEEE-754.
The Sumo Robots originally debuted as the "JavaNator" at James Gosling's JavaOne 2002 keynote. They were subsequently used for the SunOne Sumo Java Programming Competition at SunOne 2003. The Sumos show off real-time Java features using the Ajile processor packaged in a Systronix Jstamp. And they demonstrate a simple Java interface for controlling robots for the ancient and honorable sport of Japanese Sumo Robot Wrestling!

We host projects that help us explore how intelligent devices augment human abilities. We especially encourage projects that create tools for supporting robotics education.
This project enables a communication between the blind and the deaf through a cell phone. Rybena means to communicate. Speech is converted into text and then to the Sign Language. The system connects to a Databank where a set of animations is stored. For each recognized word, a corresponding sign animation is transmitted to the client’s cell phone. In case one word does not have a correspondent symbol images of its characters are transmitted letter by letter to the mobile device.
