ADEN is a reliable message passing API over Java's DatagramSockets. It provides functionalities similar to TCP sockets. The most important are negotiated connections, reliable in-order datagram delivery and ability to handle multiple connections to server's local address/port concurrently. ADEN provids a lightweight alternative of UDP & TCP sockets for applications where messages are small (A message size ranges between few bytes and few kilobytes) and/or all peers are in the same LAN.
This project is used to list and categorize all "ADF samples" created by the members of the ADF EMG. The SVN repo in this project can also be used to store the samples. The ADF samples wiki pages provides an overview of all samples hosted here. Request participant rights for this project if you have ADF sample applications or demos you want to share with the ADF community.
