This project encompasses the code of integration points between Hibernate and Oracle Coherence, currently consisting of a Coherence-based implementation of the Hibernate second-level cache SPI, and a Hibernate-based implementation of the Coherence CacheStore SPI. The CacheStore implementation is pre-existing and merely moved from the Coherence product codebase, while the second-level cache implementation represents new development targeted to the redesigned SPI released in Hibernate 3.3.
The Oracle Bedrock (formerly Oracle Tools) project provides a collection of general purpose low-level Java tools, classes and interfaces for your applications. Included are classes to aid in the configuration and management of multiple runtime instances typically used for testing multi-server, multi-process distributed applications. This work originated from the Coherence Incubator and is now released and developed as an independent standalone library (without requiring Oracle Coherence).
The projects consist of a collection of Oracle Coherence-based utilities, distributed computing and data-grid examples, third-party integration examples and implementations of commonly used software patterns.
